The Institute for Strategic & Innovative Technologies

About ISIT

ISIT is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable research institute created to address critical global challenges through advanced science and technology. The Institute seeks practical solutions to selected global issues through international collaboration, research and scientific exchange of the world’s leading scientists and technologists. We conduct international seminars and symposia, identify and assists in developing and commercializing technical solutions to selected global challenges, and host geopolitical and technology forecasting activities by two of the world’s most highly ranked forecasters.

The institute was founded in 2010.

MISSION

ISIT  provides a forum for international cooperation, research, scientific exchange for advanced nuclear and electromagnetic technologies, and includes two of the world’s most highly ranked forecasters of technology advances, for addressing critical global technical challenges.

APPROACH

ISIT provides internationally recognized experts who lead research and exploration focused on selected scientific, technological, and national security challenges of global importance through team formation with government, national laboratories, universities, and industry.

Projects the Institute
Takes Part In

Since 2010, ISIT has engaged leaders in science, technolgy, and government to seek practical goals to global issues ranging from energy and the environment to novel space launch technologies. The Institute assembles teams of researchers and experts to develop and implement solutions across an array of interrelated interests. ISIT researchers also provide advanced forecasting to help position recommended solutions for success.

Our focus areas include:

National Security

From AI to directed-energy weapons, ISIT seeks innovative technologies to assist the U.S. intelligence community and its allies

Space

Exploring technologies and strategies to reduce the cost of access to space and pursue novel launch solutions to increase launch cadence

Energy

Exploring new solutions, innovations, and strategies to grow more stable power grids, deliver electricity in challenging situations, and support military field operations
